"Hell yeah, that was PI"

I think it’s laughable anyone here would defend the Saints against the refs after all the gifts they have been given the last 10 years. Not to mention the blatant injuries they’ve tried inflict on our own guys like TD and Smitty.

Fug that. They deserve to get screwed out of every game they ever play. If they get cheated then that serves them right. They’re a weak ass team that didn’t deserve to be there and should have lost to the Eagles.

There no doubt that NFL officiating this year has been very very inconsistent and awful. There needs to be more rule changes to fix these issues. We need the onside kick rule back to what is was previously. The overtime rules needs to be changed make it like college and should be no ties to end a game. The QB protection has got way out of hand and needs to be revised to help out defensive players out. And the booth at anytime should be able to reverse a helmet to helmet or pass interference call.

If that was Curtis Samuel or another Panthers wide out this board would be in shambles.

Oh, I'm sure we would be, but hey, since its the Saints we will enjoy their misery.  Couldnt have happened to a finer organization or fanbase.

What an absolute joke. Seriously. The people who had the Rams winning this had the Saints winning the championship though, so Saints fans can't be mad, right?

FB_IMG_1548039571950.jpgDude, the game should have never got that far.  The rams should have had  a fresh set of downs at the 2 due to a BLATANT FACE MASK.

Please stop crying for the aints.

The refs were poo all game, and I mean completely god awful.  I saw multiple PI's that could have gone BOTH ways, and atleast 2 missed facemask penalties.  I am happy the saints lost and in a painful way because fug them, but I hope this makes the NFL take a long look at these truly awful refs and start having public repercussion for deciding games.  Remember, the NFL graded these idiots and these were "the best of the best".

I said it all day, Rams had more bad calls against them, the saints had the one at the worst time.  Thats how it broke.  Those blow calls could have easily broke the rams spirit, it didn't and they fought back.

They would have scored? Or Brees would have thrown an INT with the game on the line like he did in OT...  There is no way to know what would have happened. At the end of the day, the Saints had the ball in OT with a chance to end the game and choked. Maybe their coach with stop running his mouth to other teams and stop this karma. He had the Eagles playing super motivated and almost lost to them outside of a drop by Jeffrey.

    • Have to stop making everything about BY. They will and have been bringing in players to improve the TEAM, not just Bryce Young. Which is something they should have done BEFORE bringing in a rookie QB. Even Metchie is a generally good pickup at a position of need. He just happens to have played with BY in college. And that doesn't hurt his chances or the team's. Morgan just addressed the biggest areas of need on the team via free agency so they won't be reaching for a position of need in the draft. He's legit picking the best player available for the TEAM in the draft. The o-line was in shambles in 2023. He addressed it in 2024. The d-line was in shambles in 2024. He addressed it in 2025. The pass rush and linebackers were in shambles in 2025. He's addressed it in 2026. Unfortunately good young WRs don't hit the FA market, so can't just throw money at them. You have to draft them. I wonder what some would be saying if they'd spent the amount of cap on the offense that they spent on the defense in 2025 and 2026 - and then used both first round draft picks on defense. Would that have been better in your eyes? No. You would be complaining that the defense is too young to compete and more vets weren't brought in because they're trying to prop up BY. This team should be talented enough now to make some noise in the South. If BY is actually holding them back, then QB will be addressed in 2027. They benched him 2 games into their tenure and you think they're tied to his success. No. That doesn't compute. They're tied to the team's success. BY could throw for 5000 yards and if they're 4 - 13, head's will roll.  TLDR: Their decisions aren't driven by making BY look good. They're trying to improve the team and win games. Period.
    • I still firmly believe that Tepper still has his mandate of make Bryce work or get fired and because of that, it doesn't matter how badly he does... He'll get a long term deal in the 40-50m range and set back this franchise for a decade. Then the Teppers will have another QB infatuation and maybe they get it right then.
