And now, Congress is involved

The Politics of Louisiana are known for its entrenched corruption and populism. The State has toggled between Democratic and Republican control since the civil war, and has reliably supported populist candidates of all stripes, including Huey Long, Earl Long, David Duke, and George Wallace. Other distinct features of Louisiana's politics include its calcified aristocracy, use of the Napoleonic Code (instead of English Common Law, like the rest of the U.S.), history of white supremacy, and the divide between Catholics in the south and Evangelical Protestants in the north.

Wow, if this has traction we should bring up our Super Bowl vs Broncos, where there was like 20 missed calls.

It won't....every other team in the NFL has congressmen/women too, not the least of which the Rams....from....the real LA....yea GL armpit LA vs oh....yea other armpit LA but still.

Well,.. it should be publicly posted everywhere the calls that were missed “blatantly” for the Saints, if they want to play that game.

there were calls and no calls throughout the game.. most notably the face mask that would have given the Rams the ball at the 1 yard line. A touchdown there instead of what happened would have changed the game.

no one talks about it or cares——

so if they want to scream about their missed call, they should be ok with the whirlwind.

reap he whirlwind Sheriff Brady,.. reap it,..

Not to mention the multiple helmet to helmet hits Cam had to endure without a single flag thrown.

And what about that swinging Philly out of bounds by his facemask non-call.

Don't get me started on Pittsburgh's Super Bowl win where the refs must have been blind to all their infractions.

Agreed.  You know I've complained about those helmet to helmet hits since that game, but I was just pointing out the ones that required no interpretation from the refs that turned the game in the Broncos favor.  The head hunting on Cam was obvious and egregious as well, but the Cotchery play and offsides on a FG that cost us points were real momentum changers.

I'm curious which people think is more embarrassing between 28-3 and this.

I'm gonna guess 28-3 but this is getting flat-out ridiculous.

28-3 was against the GOAT HC & QB, and, by the 4th quarter falcons were down  two starting OLinemen while the center was playing with a literal broken leg.

D##n it, now I'm sad all over again, sigh, one more play, one more frigging play, Falcons win.

Roger Goodell actually could order the game to be replayed or restarted. he could also just reverse the result. The NFL commissioner actually has that power.

He's not going to, of course. It would be silly.

Exactly, teams get fuged from the refs all the time. I don't know why the saints are making a big deal, they've been on the other side of fuged up calls for years and never say "thanks refs". It ridiculous
