Even though their season is technically over, the Saints still managed to lose one more thanks to their fans.

Federal judge rejects Saint fans lawsuit

The legal Hail Mary thrown by a group of Saints ticket-holders has been swatted down by a federal judge.

According to the Associated Press, U.S. District Judge Susie Morgan on Thursday rejected a lawsuit by two Saints season ticket holders who filed the action against the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell.

If upheld, the suit sought to make the league make up the rest of the game from the point of the obvious missed pass interference/helmet-to-helmet on Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman.

It’s one of the many fruitless acts and proclamations made by Saints partisans, so seeing it swatted away by a real judge when it was more suited for Judge Judy should send a message to the rest of them.

You'd think by the Saints reaction this was the first time a referee's non-call impacted a game.

I get being upset, but what sports fan hasn't been upset with a call/non-call at one time or another?

And that is the point and what seems to be eluding those bringing this lawsuit, we've all been there. 

Saints fans, you aren't that special, and neither was that non-call by the officials.

All in for the season.   All out of their mind after the season.  So nice to see.  The saints have now overtaken the Falcons in my mind as my most hated NFCS team after how they handled this.  Bunch of premadonna cry babies.

Pretty sure this is the second time within the past decade that the Saints have had an "all in" year fall short.

I'm trying to remember the previous year.
