Possible bad news for Byrd fans

This is one of those test the market things. If he gets an offer above minimum, the Panthers will let him go. If not, he'll be back for training camp at the least. Sometimes just having a guy who knows the playbook is a big deal, even if he's just sitting on the bench most games.

Yep. I was a fan and we all saw his ability flashed on the return TDs. I wanted him on the field when we were for some reason having Fozzie and Webb returning kicks to the 15 yard line and having Bersin catching passes. Now, I’m not worried about having him out there.

I wish he could have stayed healthy because he still may be our best returner, but he couldn’t.

The reason Fozzy returned kicks in 2017 is because Byrd was injured. You can look at the game logs to see this. The two segments fozzy was returning were the weeks Bird was out

Voth was answering a fan question.

Pointing out that Voth didn't just float this out there. He was asked about it.

Yep. Got that from the original post, then offered my opinion on the subject. You get how that interchange goes, right? If not, er, hey thanks for catching me up, I guess.
