Does Ferrel make sense if we go to 3-4?  For those of you that have watched him a lot.

If anybody falls its him. As i have been saying on here for the longest Farrell is the least special of the first round potential ends. He isnt the best athlete and shared a defensive line with 2 other first rounders and a 3rd rounder on the other side. Not to mention the clemson offense regularly blew out opponents so this kid could pin his ears back and rush the passer. He's a high effort guy and legit first rounder but the least special of the top teir guys.

I say no... He's not that athletic and seems more the classic 4-3 end.

No idea what ur talking about sweat showed up at the senior bowl 260+ allen around the same bosa as well and gary like 280. Only under sized one is burns

Depends on how much 3-4 we run on defense in 2019.  If the 3-4 package is only going to show up about 25-30% of the time (or less), this would be an incredibly stupid pick.

Watch him not really be on our board because of "fit" and we pass on him.  This place would have a meltdown.

If we are really going to a lot more 3-4 they might want someone like Polite more.  Might even be a good spot to trade down a little.

With the history of OL busts in R1, I really hope we go pass rusher, linebacker or safety in the first. There are so many edge rushers coming out, there will be a talented one for us at 16. I would do cartwheels if Ferrell was there, but Sweat is my guy too, so I think one of these guys is in Panther black and blue.....also happy with Polite too. Burns would be a great grab, but there's a gap between the tier of Ferrell/Sweat and then Burns. 

The combine will definitely separate guys.
