Draftnetworks predictability mock

Ran a mock on draftnetworks draft machine using their predictive part where it calculates what and how they think things will go down.  Ran 5 rounds 

All the top edge rushers went before 16 (expected this after Sweats combine)

I'd rather have Jonah Williams than Sweat. So if Williams ultimately ended up here as a byproduct of Sweat's combine, that would be ironic and great!

Id take Sweat over him in a heartbeat 

Sweat is just a freak, has the size.

People are forgetting he produced to thinking he is just a combine product (he's had double digit sacks his only 2 seasons at MSU)

And his length with those tentacles are a game changer.  Just getting your hand on the QB slows him down a little and gives others the opportunity to swarm.  Also the batting the passes.  He also is a Glue fit for our scheme.

Its a lot easier to find a RT in FA than a edge like him in FA or later rounds

Also our staff loves him, as you saw they brought him in to really talk scheming with him.

The thought of him standing rushing om the edge is frightening, Jason Taylor esc

 

 

But he will likely be gone, dude just put up better #s than Clowney at the Combine (including 3 cone and shuttle which is the big thing to look with edge rushers)

Jonah apparently models his game after Jake Matthews, if he plays anything like him I’d be all for it.

I'm nervous about 1st round LTs. Seems like all of these "instant starter, lock the position down for a decade" types have been busting over and over again in recent years. If we think he's a legit starting LT, then I have no problem with the pick though.

LT or DE.  I'm happy with it.  Not wild about our choices at DE in round 2, but we do have to get a body there.

You're right. They won't take him because he won't be there (and because they're signing Foles). As for whether or not he sucks, we'll see. I definitely have my doubts about him in the NFL.

well there's that but i'm talking about the OP mocker. Even if murray was there, why would jacksonville take him?

If they were smart and the draft fell that way they'd just open up the auction block for that pick. I just think he ultimately goes #1 to Arizona. Kingsbury wants him. Why hire Kingsbury if you're not drafting Murray? I can't see him lasting until #7 without someone taking him or someone trading down for someone else to take him.
