Also, a reminder FA winners do NOT win Superbowls.  It's about wisely supplementing in areas of need.  But, as I said, it's troubling we aren't being linked to ANYONE.

Yes because the key to successful free agency is having everyone know your targets to ensure you start a bidding war

This is the worst time of the year to be a Panthers fan.

Front office doesnt sign anyone and the fans go crazy. Front office signs someone and the fans go crazy about how we have no cap space.

No one can be pleased, everyone sucks.

We can't afford to be active on day 1 nor should we be.  Crazy money is being thrown around with lots of teams flush with cap space. We're better served waiting out the initial spending spree and signing solid contributors at areas of need for a reasonable bargain.

Just remember that Hurney 1.0 would’ve already made our cap issues a million times worse. Him doing basically nothing is a vast improvement

Some of the dumbest moves of free agency are the first day signings. Lots of great big signings by really bad teams. Maybe it's best to let the suckers dive in first.
