ECF Game 4: Hurricanes vs Bruins 5/16, 8PM, NBCS. Win or The End.

Rask was unbelievable in this series and definitely the main reason they won. Boston seems to have been getting better as the playoffs have rolled along too. They looked vulnerable against Columbus early in the series and just seemed to turn it on. But Rask has a tendency to go super cold at times and against a more powerful offensive team he might get shook up. I think either team out of the West will have a good series against Boston.

The writing was on the wall from the jump of Game 1.  Minus game three when we played our asses off and couldn't score and 2/3 of Game 1.  They had sticks in the way, puck always seemed to find their tape and we were never expecting the puck.  That's the way she bounces sometimes.  I think the most disappointing thing was seeing 35% Bruins fans in the stadium and knowing they were driving 15 minutes down 64 to get home to Cary or Apex.  The Carolina's are such a frustrating place to have a professional franchise.

you could hear all the bruins fans cheering when they scored, or for rask when he made a save. it was very disheartening

Imagine having to talk to the mother fugers who love Brad Marchand.  fug that guy, fug everyone from Boston, fug that whole place.  I don't care about that "if he was on your team you'd love him" bullshit either.  He's an asshole.

you can see this was fated a while ago. follow the path of the playoffs...

round 1: lightning swept by the islanders

round 2: islanders swept by hurry canes

round 3: hurry canes swept by bruins

so clearly, the bruins will be swept by who every wins the west.

If there is a just and kind God.

Just proving my point that people from Massachusetts are the most insufferable human beings on the planet. That is why I was/am so salty about losing to these fugs. I can take losing.....I am a Panthers fan, after all, but I cannot take losing to the worst fuging people in the world.

If we're being honest, Carolina was the 4th best team remaining. San Jose, Boston and St. Louis are all much better teams than the Canes.

It was a good ride, a good season and I hope Brind'Amour learns from his rookie season and this team has some higher expectations next season.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
