I Broke my foot

Paa Langfart

Recommended Posts

I have a Jones fracture of the foot,  like Olsen,  as well as 3 other meta tarsals broken, and in doing some online research, I found this about Greg Olsen and his broken foot ( x2).  I found it interesting and hope it works well for him and we get his play for a full season this year.  Off season and all.

He's just getting paid. They're not indicated for what he had.

Conclusions LIPUS can stimulate radiographic bone healing in fresh fractures. Although there is weak evidence that LIPUS also supports radiographic healing in delayed unions and nonunions, it was not possible to pool the data because of a paucity of sufficient studies with similar outcome measures.

All I know is that he came back in 3 weeks last season when pretty much everyone expected him to be out for the rest of the season.  And whether or not a  treatment is  " indicated for what he has " means very little to nothing if you have the money to pay for what ever treatment you think might help. My bet is Olsen checked with team doctors and they said something along the lines of  " it won't hurt your healing time "

I bet Cam was doing stuff that wasn't  "indicated"  for his shoulder as well.

Being indicated for a specific disease or treatment is just a guideline for physicians many times.  From being in the industry physicians use all kind of things for off label uses.  Sometimes it isn’t worth the investment from a company to struggle through the FDA process to get a indication for a disease state that is not that prevalent.  But that doesn’t stop physicians from using it for treatment. And doesn’t mean it doesn’t work.

    • Every union, union adjacent, or union tangent organization does this. They prey on dumb employees  who think the union is there for them instead of the mob or some other social-politically entangled arse. Always degrades the product and indeed the price of that product too. Then money flowing up to people with 0 to do with anything about the product. Its the most simple protection racket and oldest in the book yet people are still sub 70 enough to think it matters for anything other than making money for the racketeers.  I mean this is on their Wiki(yeah i know wiki) The NFL Players Association is the labor union representing National Football League players in matters concerning wages, hours and working conditions, and protects their rights as professional football players. So instead of the player doing that with his own agent which is why you have a fkn agent lol. So they are pilfering money from the player twice. Agent then NFLPA The standard annual membership dues are approximately $15,000. While players are not legally obligated to formally join the union, those who choose not to are generally still required to pay a mandatory service fee equivalent to union dues. Can't take anyone seriously when they talk up unions and since the mob is involved that's why you get those refs doing NFL ref poo. You can even hear former mob Michael Franzese just open admit this now that he's out of prison and making YT videos.(has been for years now)
