Ron reads the huddle confirmed.  My message to Ron - keep Allen as back up and put Grier on PS.  If there is one area which we are weakest it has to be OL so if you get the urge to do another signing that is the position.

Ron might tell you that putting Grier on the PS would expose him to other teams for picking up and thereby rendering a 3rd round pick a waste before even trying to develop his skills.

Reading is is one thing.  Heeding is another.

Also, “lol it was practice game bro” excuse by Ron is suspect because last week the whole team played hungry and this week mostly showing little effort or fire, with exceptions.

Grasping at straws to support you weak ass opinion, is definitely weak sauce.

Did we have a vanilla defensive gameplan in Pittsburgh last year too?

Do you want to know what went wrong in that game? Go see how many times Washington sent Luke on a blitz on third and short; arguably the best coverage linebacker in the NFL, who has limitations in pass rushing, was constantly sent on a blitz. Where did Ben go? Right over the middle to a TE, H-Back, or Receiver who filled that void left by Luke in under 2 seconds, each time. This was set-up by Washington not committing to stopping the run or the pass. He simply was out coached and out prepared. It was ugly, to say the least.

Now, there is no comparing a preseason game against a team you just scrimmaged for two days, after the players just got to go home for the first time in 3 weeks, with no Cam, no CMC, no Luke, no Shaq, against the entire first team Bills offense. Then we had mostly 2nd string guys in after that first series against the Bills starters.

The outcome isn't what's important here, and the defense called was primarily dropping guys into zone and sending a 4th rusher off the edge on either side.

What should be encouraging is the disruption you saw by the defense, despite a vanilla scheme, in that one drive where we had the starting 3 and Bruce off the edge.

We should cut cam, Olsen, cmc, kuechly, shaq and paradis for not showing heart and playing in the preseason game. They dont care about this team!

Surprised this hasn't been said based on the asinine poo i am reading.

Unlike football, our forum has no preseason.  It’s game on sky is falling. all the time.
