Universal Studios Orlando - Do it

Just got back from the final hoorah of summer with my lady friend and all of our kids (5 of em).

Gotta say Universal Studios Orlando did not disappoint. I enjoyed it so much more than Disney. Marvel, Harry Potter, Transformers, Simpsons, all the stuff I like.

Highly recommend.

We did Universal this summer as well.  We had a BLAST!  While yes, there were some lines to wait in, the way they set up the wait, it wasn't too bad.  The Harry Potter stuff was really cool and entertaining.  My son loved casting spells around the area.  We enjoyed everything but the butterbeer.  Talk about gross!

I'd recommend getting the photo pass for your stay.  They have folks with cameras everywhere who will get your picture for you.  We paid $89 for three days, but we did get TONS of photos including ride photos in that price.  We didn't have to worry about taking group shots or anything, we let them do it, and the memories are there.  Could I have done a better job?  Sure, but then I wouldn't have been in the pictures with my family.

Another note about their photographers:  I didn't want to bring my DSLR and lenses.  It also rained cats and dogs.  We ended up getting 30 or so images from them for the three days.  Good value over all.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
