Hard to tell imo, Cam is a very unique guy but he is a fierce competitor and I think he really wants to win a superbowl and get into the HOF. He's already very close to the HOF imo, a Superbowl win and he might.

Most QBs used to retire in their very early 30s for a reason, we're all just biased by the few that seemingly defy time and hold on.  Cam takes too many hits to be that guy.  I would be shocked if he were starting for us come winter 2021

It’s apples and oranges. There’s a difference between fighting through pain and injuries when you love the game and actually get to play. Luck was doing that and not even getting to play.

This is just like the Luke concussion. According to all of you in here, he was already done. Well, that was 3 years ago.

Maybe Luck is the new precedent for top QBs who miss half or more of their games over a 4 year period and start year 5 with another injury and then decide they don’t want to spend year 5 rehabbing again.

Yeah to this.  Cam has had a couple of injuries but nothing like Luck’s lingering issues that come up one after another. I dare say I would label Luck injury prone.  Cam, I would not.   Also Cam looks like he simply enjoys (passionately enjoys) playing and being there with the team. It would take.a lot of aggravation for that to evaporate IMO.    

Cams biggest risk is the number of hits he will take over time but i don’t think I you can really equate his situation with Lucks.

I've never seen a fan-base so eager to have their former MVP QB retire. Cam still has unfinished business to take-care of. He's not going anywhere.

Depending on the beating he takes this year I think he’ll go till around 34/35. Maybe late 30s if we’re lucky.

There comes a time when injuries just overwhelm you. None of us know what Luck was going through on a daily basis. If he felt it was time, it was time. Cam will be there one day too. Hopefully later than sooner.

Joe missed one season, not two.

Montana played 192 regular season games in his career.

Do you expect Cam to exceed that number?   If so, by how many?
