Unfortunately Julio is at #2 and AB is at #1 even though he has lost it.

AB was #1 in Pitt but who knows with new system in NE. Odell could be up there as well but no one is more dangerous than Tyreke. Julio to me is #1 right now but we’ll see how those guys play this year. Having the #1 WR hasn’t won a team a super bowl since Jerry Rice.

Don't even know how the cap number will be spread out for Julio, and they were already over the cap, but the Falcons have thrown some money around this offseason damn. They're going to be losing a few key people or restructuring every year ala the Saints.

When Brees and Ryan retire, holy poo both teams are going to get REAL ugly for a few years.

Too many people sleeping on my boy Hopkins in this thread...

Dude put up video game numbers with QBs like Tom Savage, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mallet, Case Keenum, Brian Hoyer, Brandon Weeden, TJ Yates, and Brock fuging Lobster Osweiler throwing to him.

He's a monster but he's quiet and plays for the Texans. With Watson throwing him the ball the past two years he's put up stupid good numbers. Had 163 targets last year with 0 drops.

Stud.

if any receiver is worth that kind of cap %, it's Julio. we'll see how his talent level fares as he gets up in age, but so far every move the Falcons have made with Julio has been the correct one. trading up for him, drafting him, his contracts to date. no reason to think this will be any different.

    • From Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/nutshellsportz.bsky.social/post/3mo3rkrcezs2e  A look at Run Threat Rate across the NFL Run Threat Rate is the percentage of plays where a team either runs the ball or uses play action. This compares each team’s rate when leading or tied versus when trailing to show how much they abandon the run when playing from behind.
    • That's the current dilemma on both parties at the moment. If Ickey comes back too soon, he won't be 100% and his play will suffer. Leading to a potential decrease in his contract. If Ickey is unable to play and sits the entire 2026 season, his contract will still take the same hit since it tells all 32 team that he is not fully recovered. On the Panthers side, I'm sure they would want to keep Ickey if he is fully recovered but he is obviously in a contract year. They don't want to re-sign him to a massive deal since it be too risky and they know if Ickey is able to return to form.  Best case scenario, the Panthers wants to offer Ickey a 1-2 year heavily incentive based prove it deal. However, Ickey would most likely decline the offer and test the market as  another team can come in and offer Ickey a better deal if they are desperate enough for O-line help.
    • They have been giving him a lot of snaps at RT to give TMo some relief in camp. I think that will continue for the time being.
