How'd that new 3-4 defense look today?

Honestly the defense had to play short field with turnovers. 9-12 of their points were off our turnovers. Take those away and we win. 

Dont blame this in the defense or special teams. This was on the offense

Pretty good, the offense gave the Rams 17 points on turnovers

Looked eerily similar to last year. Huge gash run. Terrible tackling and soft zone coverage.

We spend more on the DL than any other team in the league and that DL produced zero sacks and made Todd Hurley look like the guy he was supposed to be in the NFL, not the guy he has been his entire career so far.

I was looking all game trying to find that vaunted front 4 we were supposed to have... 

then i found them... they were giving up 5 yards a carry

Blame the offense for getting gashed on every run? That was supposed to be one of the better front 4’s in the League and they looked like Tampa Bay.

Honestly, it looked good against a respectable offense. It’s only the first game and sucks we lost, but I think this team is more than capable to compete for a playoff spot. Newton had a tough game, but he’s human (this isn’t NFL madden). Look forward to seeing the team grow next 2 weeks

Defenses look better when the offense can move the ball and put up points. This loss today was on offense.

Defense was solid for the most part, but that's against an average QB. The front 7 was great until mid 3rd qt because they were tired from being in the field so much.

This loss is on the Offense, putting the Defense on a short field way too much.
