(Most of) Y'all are insufferable

Yeah, you're right. I mean, we're only 0-9 in our last 9 meaningful games, just lost to the sorry Bucs on a short week at home, our QB is a corpse of himself, our HC is still making the same mistakes he was making in his 1st year, season already over in 2 weeks, and wasted two hall of famers on both sides of the ball. Yeah, we just need to be positive. That will do it!

Right now I feel like I'm watching a high-performance sports car being by a 90 year old man with dementia.

LOL yep, it almost looked like a second preseason game where everyone was trying to get used to playing together again,

People tend to over inflate their own teams. It’s natural. In much the same way the media overhyped Will Grier, so do fans: He was a third round pick, and he’s very much looked like it.

Well, this was a 7-9 team. And it looks very much like it. Ownership saying they’re all about winning means nothing unless they’re winning.

I've got a friend whose grandmother is a sweet, kindhearted come and fairly simple old lady.

She grew up on a farm, doesn't care about "fancy stuff" and isn't the least bit interested in technology. She did, however, recently decide that she would like to have a cell phone for emergencies and to keep in touch with her family.

He bought her an $1,100 iPhone.

She now has an "emergency phone" that she barely understands how to power on.

...

Watching this team makes me think of her.

This team is not going .500 with the remaining schedule, with only 6 home games remaining, with what we're dealing with behind center.  As the hits pile up this season, Cam's play is only get to get even worse, not better.

So, go ahead and proceed to poo this post while knowing full well you're probably a terrible person anyways, post "Everything is fine" memes, and quote and @ me with your garbage replies.

I agree with OP, but can I still engage in the latter? It helps drown out the constant internal screaming

I’ve had time to calm down from last night

From an entirely rational perspective, I still think we burn it down

9 straight losses....9........straight......losses

the worst is yet to come I believe for this team

but I’ll always be a fan rockin my black and blue baby

as long as the Saints don’t win super bowl, I can subside off that modicum of happiness until next year

It's actually okay if we "don't deserve a professional football team" right now.

All indications are we don't have one.

rofl

You just fuging suplexed the op into the core of the Earth.

The Panthers don't deserve to be in the NFL with the likes of RR and Hurney running shop. Or when Richardson was terrorizing women and poo....TFO op lol honestly

    • Malcom Spence is the best player remaining, hope he’s there.
    • The era that you played in, and, more importantly, who you played with actually matters. Honestly, that's why these issues will be debated forever, as it's just difficult to say that this person or that person is better when you're discussing the passage of time. As for me, after Rice, Moss and maybe Megatron and T.O., there's probably a dozen or so guys that can be argued about to the cows come home. Personally, I'm not putting Fitz, Harrison, Johnson, Evans, or especially D-Hop, Jefferson, Chase or Hill definitely in front of Smitty (and Colston ain't even in the discussion). Context and all that stuff actually matters. Things like the triple crown matter.
    • Some of those guys? Yeah honestly you can.  I would 100% take Steve Smith over Larry Fitzgerald, Harrison, even Mike Evans. He is 100% a better player than those guys in his prime. If you look at the numbers Smith is historically under targeted in comparison to his contemporaries. He was only targeted 150 times or more only once in his career. Fitzgerald for example was targeted well above that 9 different seasons. Had Smith played with Peyton, Brady, Greatest Show on Turf, or even with Warner in Arizona he would broken records. His 2008 season was ridiculous accumulating 1400 yards in 13 games on less than 80 receptions. All time he also lost a season due to injury in 04, barely played WR as a rookie. Got robbed of 1k season with Clausen. Thats easily another 1800yds minimum that should have been tacked on to his #s. The only guys I’d say for certain are better than Smith are Rice, Moss, TO, Megatron, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown.
