Ten 4.... the guy mentioned 4 mil in fines... but fines and checks I believe.

"Now suspended for the remainder of 2019 (forfeiting $1.16M), #Raiders LB Vontaze Burfict has now lost over $5.3M since 2013 due to fines & suspensions."

... I just echo'ed the announcers.. in any event though ..the general point remains. His recklessness has led to him giving up or forfeiting alot of his salary.

"I don't think he was trying to hurt that man," Carr said of Burfict's hit on Doyle. "The man was going down. You see it all the time, there's flags flying everywhere. If we think about football, the guy caught it here and he's already going to hit him and he's starting to go down, obviously you're going to hit him a little higher than you expected. We see other people choking people out and they're going to play this Sunday. We see other people hitting people in the helmets and they're going to play this Sunday. And Vontaze Burfict won't play the rest of the year, I think that's a little excessive if you ask me. I don't think it's fair.

"He's a great person, his heart is broken because he's not playing football. The guy just wants to play football."

I'm sure there's a lot of guys that wanted to be playing football on Sunday's that couldn't after a Burfict hit. I agree that there is only so much a player can do once they're in motion, but come on. If it was the 2nd, maybe 3rd time in a long career I could get it, but happens way too often with him.

Then it is OK to have him try and hurt Cam to right just because he has broken heart and loves to play football. He has deliberately tried to twist Cams ankle a couple times when his ankle was injured when Cam was already down and tackled. Yeah this is a time for a light sentence and let him off with a warning very well knowing he will still keep doing things to hurt players purposely every time he is on the field. The fact is he has had a bad history of deliberately hurting players through the years with Bengals. It has finally caught up with him for his dirty plays.

Yeah I saw that quote earlier. What a freaking joke. He's not a great person. He's a piece of @#%$. Anyone with half a brain who follows football knows that. If he's your teammate, I understand if you just keep your mouth shut and say nothing. But if you open it and utter such obvious bs in defense of human garbage like Burfict, you lose all credibility and any respect I might have had for you. Say it sucks he won't be on the field to help your team. Say you wish things had gone differently on that play. But don't EVER try to tell me Vontaze Burfict is a great person. Wish I could laugh in Carr's face in response.

I don't believe his heart is broken because I don't believe he has one. But if he's unhappy he's not playing football..GOOD. I hope he's miserable. Actions have consequences a$$hole.

That was Carrs quote, not mine. I think he should be out of football forever.
