Panthers 6th in points scored, 14th in points allowed

Carolina Panthers offense is 6th in the league in points scored per game.

Carolina Panthers defense is 14th in points allowed per game.

Sounds like a playoff team to me.

Sadly, San Fran is 3rd in points scored and 2nd in points allowed per game. Good lord that game looks like a tough one.

San Fran is going to prove a lot of thing

Allen facing his first tough defense (32nd, 30th, 24th?, 15th?)

Daley- dude has been a stud the last 2 weeks, but baby Bosa has been on fire the last 2 weeks as well.

That SF running game is going to be a problem problem....they dont have any big backs its all speed all the time. if we can slow that down, We will be fine.

The fullback is out, he is a major component there. Not sure if they have a backup or changed the run scheme in his absence.

I still think the Texans are a better overall team than the 49ers.

Lot of teams would be undefeated with a great statistical defense with the schedule the 49ers have played IMO

Considering how pedestrian they made the Chiefs look in Arrowhead, our victory over the Texans in Houston looks even more impressive.

I don't know if we've beat up on inferior teams over this 4-game stretch, or we can just make great teams look average. We'll know a lot more if we can go in to San Fran and knock down an undefeated team.

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
