Saints schedule is remarkably similar to ours from here on out and they play us twice

Eh we have the Packers and Seahawks (legitimate playoff contenders).

They have the 49ers and Colts.

Honestly I'd trade our two for their two. The odds are in their favor especially with the 49ers looking a little suspect after playing the Redskins.

Redskins game was played in torrential rain. Good rule of thumb is to throw any game played in severe weather conditions out the window for evaluation purposes.

Also how do you count the 49ers as a significant opponent for NO but not us?

You do realize that division rivals play the same schedule your team does over the course of the season with the exception of the 2 conference games that are determined by finish in the division right? The only real variable otherwise is the relative health of the teams when they play each other.

match them step for step

beat them twice

if we can't do that we can't win a super bowl and what else is there?

Agreed. They look damn good and you can tell the people who don't watch but the Panthers Ain'ts looking like Cans atm but we gotta match them. If Cam comes back fully healthy we can do that. I don't know about KA vs that defense we'll find out a lot vs San Fran and GB though.

That was before ron unleashed kyle allen on the nfl

Which you as the smartest posted in huddle history surely foretold....except that when a thread about backup QBs came up, your suggestion was...

Yes me not fortelling Kyle Allen's dominance is one of my biggest SHAMES in my football posting career... however 30 teams passed on the GOAT QB multiple times so I will not lose sleep over it. However I am still 100% right about the topic on hand, especially after yesterdays DOMINANT performance with a backup QB against the then #3 defense in the NFL in ppg allowed. your meaningless diversion mean nothing to me sir. you simply cannot bait me.

Saints already beat Seahawks (legitimate playoff contenders) in their own building. . . .   It was Teddy's first start.

There is a certain player in Denver I think that could turn the tables. Everybody in the organization including the fans is too scared to make a major splash to win a SB. Cam for Von and a 1st and lets get to Miami... 2015 Broncos didn't need a qb with the defense they had, if we added Von, we could be scary defensively. Boy how I'd love to see Brees on his ass in that dome... But were gonna keep one qb on the sideline and pull a Kemba instead!

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
