If he announced this on Monday Cam maybe more hurt than we thought

It's a 8 week at best injury dude. I've been saying this the whole time. I would say next week at the earliest and probably if he's not ready to go by the Falcons worry.

I'm not sure the coaches can make it any clearer that they aren't putting Cam back on the field until they have to but we're gonna go through this circus every week regardless

Wow or maybe he has a serious injury that takes more than a month to heal. Like people here are seriously Bi polar on Cam.

Not really fan of ron anymore but i feel for him having to answer this question every single fuging week of a player who is injured and not even practicing if he we play the next game. I would have lost my poo a long time ago.

Not that I don’t understand where you’re coming from, because I do, but I think all the zeros at the end of Ron’s paycheck give him the strength to put up with it. Almost everyone who has ever waited tables or jockeyed a register as a kid working fast food or of millions of regular jobs dealing with the public has put up with worse for far less.

Even if the panthers win an ugly low scoring game, I don’t think Cam gets his job back.

Agree. It’s not just physical.  I believe he is toast when it comes to football and he now has 4 kids......he’s also 30 and doesn’t need the money.  I’m sure he’s been smart with his Money and is set for life.

Maybe some people, but I didn’t expect him to be back until the end of the season. That’s normal for his kind of injury. I am not sure what the people thinking he’d be back in 3-5 weeks are thinking honestly.

Well there is the fact that Schefter reported Cam's foot has healed well and he is ready to go...

I would've sat on that. I would've at least made the 49ers consider the possibility that Cam might play for a little longer

Rivera has never been too bright. I think he made this announcement so quickly to avoid questions about who will start.

Yes. People who dont actually have a much more important job they are actually paid for.

Yeah makes no sense at all. I would have waited and said Cam is a full practice participant and will be a game time decision WTF?
