I don't either, but I'll admit that back during the Kalil days you probably could have found people that wanted Greg Olsen to play left tackle.

Mr. Scot, I would’ve sacrificed my body to play LT during those days if I got what Matt Khalil was getting.  I wouldn’t have been good.  But I would’ve put the effort in... which is unfortunately more than I can say for Matt on many occasions

edit: I used to be a guy who kept asking myself “how does everyone keep misspelling “Kalil”?  Then I just got autocorrected.  Joke’s on me

Understood.

As to Kalil, I wouldn't say he "sacrificed" his body, but he certainly trusted it a lot more than he should have.

Unfortunately, so did we.

Based on his rookie year, I believe he could have been good, but he got derailed by injuries he just never recovered from.

Little had a concussion. He wasn't an option.

Care to share what you said about Greg Little all offseason?  Also share with us your love for Dennis Daley.

Hindsight makes it easy but you bashed Little him from the get go.

Agreed.  He actually was pretty decent his rookie year from my understanding.  But... yeah.  We saw what he became and I still wake up in a cold sweat thinking about Speedbump Matt

I didn't want Little. I have no problem rehashing my opinions even when it looks like I'm wrong. Hell, I'm happy to be wrong if it works out to the Panthers' benefit.

LOL @ you always looking for a verbal fight. Calm down.

There are topics here with page after page  of people salivating over him potentially playing LT before he had played a single NFL snap. Then he went to become an All Pro RT.  Then the coaching staff gets bashed because he had to fill in when the guy they now want (after bashing him and the pick at every opportunity) had a concussion.

The Huddle is devoid of logic and perspective.

Link them up. I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong, just that I don't recall this widespread outcry for DW at LT.

I linked a comment I'd made before the season regarding my opinion of DW at LT and then you tried to move the goalposts.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
