Kyle Allen just throws a more catchable ball

Anyone that thought Allen was the type of QB that could put a team on his back and "will" them to a win are delusional and honestly, probably a lot of fun at parties.

Conversely, anyone that thinks Cam is going to come back and "save" this team are equally delusional, and let's just say it,  mouth breathing leftists that are NO fun at parties.

This team needs more than a QB.

I don't think many people would say that a healthy Cam needs to be replaced.  But how the fug is he going to remain healthy enough to be effective?

Gotta love everyone pooing objectivity. For the record, I like Cam. But he’s not going to change the outcome of a game where all three phases of the game poo the bed. And that’s even IF his shoulder and foot are “100%.” Whatever the fug that means.

Allen is the better QB now and going forward.  And he costs nothing.  This game was a good learning experience and he needed a challenge like this.

Hopefully the Kyle Allen Fan Club will be dismantling soon. Any fan with the slightest bit of football IQ could tell the staff didn’t trust him totally and was asking him to not lose games. 
 

Maybe eventually he turns into a serviceable starter but he’s not right now. Cam can’t get healthy fast enough

Cam has had plenty of 3 TO games against teams with far worse pass defenses.  Calm down.

Kyle Allen has played admirably up to this point given the circumstances and I hope we continue to develop him as a part of the team. However, the true test of his mettle was always going to be a game where the entire team played like garbage and he was going to have to put the team on his back and find a way to win as Cam Newton has done countless times in his career, and we saw nothing today that suggested he's capable of that.

Now that we've crashed back down to earth, let's cross our fingers for Cam Newton and 5-3.

Cam has also been smoked out there just like today.  Especially early on in his career where things snowballed. 

People are going to overreact.  We are still 4-3.  I think we can make a run with Cam.  Don’t want him rushed back unless he is actually healthy. 

We don’t need to rush him back if he isn’t actually healthy because we can beat Tenn with Allen.   

Going to need Cam by Green Bay at the latest I think to have a shot to make a run though.  We have to split the 49er and GB so GB is a must win after we take care of Tenn
