What do you sell off that anyone would want, or that would get any reward?

Look at the kind of players that get traded; good people at the end of their contracts. So you're selling off either Shaq or Bradberry. Or if you really want to burn it down CMC.

I mean maybe throw out Addison or McCoy or something, but you're not getting much for them.

Bigger question: How exactly do you sell anything off after the trade deadline?

i will take a lottery ticket for addison or mccoy. and unless they intend to extend both shaq and bradberry there's no reason to keep both. even if you do intend to extend them, why? this team just got shithoused by the only contender they've played, a game where even an mvp quarterback wouldn't have made a difference. time to tank

you hold on to shaq and bradberry because you're probably not going to draft players better than them, and if you were really going to farm first round picks you've missed that by about two months. Dolphins and Jags have pretty much farmed all that down.

I don’t trust him to find another franchise qb if Cam is done here. Or to recognize whether Cam deserves a new contract after 2020 or not. If Marty gives Cam a new contract and Cam is done it will put this franchise back for years. We need a new fresh set of eyes to evaluate non emotionally.

I have full faith in Hurney to use first round picks successfully.

No faith in much else.  Cam's upcoming situation (1 and half years of being hurt) and then wanting some type of deal? Is terrifying when Marty Hurney is your GM.

I do not think Tepper would allow to do something insane though.  But we don't actually know that yet.

If Rivera is gone, we're also looking at the possibility of Marty determining who our next head coach is.

I'm not a fan of that idea either.

If Rivera gets fired, you have to fire Marty too. Tepper is not stupid.

if true this team is very dumb for not selling off some pieces and looking toward the future. this team is going nowhere without cam.

What peices? CMC? Luke? Jackson? Bradberry? Moton? Moore?

lol aside from like these guys are all young and we’re just drafted. We don’t have anyone with value on a contract we could sell. Kk? Lol I mean really, who?

Sell those young guys off and then what? Try and draft their 2 year younger replacements? Lol

addison is getting old and McCoy is Also old and on a one year deal...what exactly do you think you’ll get for those? 4-5th rounder?

like it or not you fanboys are going comes to terms Cam won’t play forever and while that may mean the end of your Panther fanship or give you this dumb idea the team is worthless without him it’s not true.

IF (the quote) TRUE, This team needs a capable QB (sorry Allen isn’t it) and MOST importantly competent coaching with the pieces they already have in place which will hopefully be the future going into next year. That’s the future. This season is already a wash let it go.

The only decision you HAVE to make this offseason is "Is Cam on the roster worth 20M in cap space?" If it is, you let him play out the last season of his contract and make a decision on the following offseason.

If he needs surgery he should have gotten it 2 months ago.

only if rushing back to play football in 2019 was the priority.  don't think it was.

think Cam wanted to take 2019 to get healthy.  No need to rush the foot in that case.   So he has time to see what the foot does without surgery.  plenty of time to do pretty much everything the way he wants it.

that wasn't the implication of my post. if your feelings are still hurt because of what was said in another thread then i suggest you take it there you dork. no need for you to poo up yet another thread with your worthless posts

What was the implication then? That we should cut a bunch of players with no compensation just for the hell of it?

You suggested we try to "sell off" (i.e. trade) a bunch of players when we were just last week talking extensively about the trade deadline.

Not sure why my feelings would be hurt by you saying something dumb.

and if you are Cam?   Cam got leverage to not even play in that scenario as well.
