What is the trade value of Cam in 2020?

As our fearless leader noted, Cam is most likely done in Carolina. Moving past that... what is Cam's trade value on a 1 year deal in 2020? Will a team bite or will we have to cut him?

I would say almost nothing. Two years basically out of football says damaged goods. He will get a second chance after his release.

Yea I can’t imagine much. But a physical and practice would drive it higher. I think the Panther’s should be happy if they got a 3rd.

I still say the Panthers should keep Cam and let him play on a one year deal. I see no reason why that is not logical or reasonable for either side, unless Cam wants to play somewhere else.

You can't trade someone who can't pass a physical. If he passes a physical then he is healthy enough to play.  If he is healthy enough to play why trade him.

I think some team will offer a good value pick. But I’m not sure that is the best thing to do.  Cam has earned the right to go where he wants.  Release him and let him go if that’s the case.  
Problem with that is he would probably Tampa Bay and come back to crush us twice a year.

You've got to find a combination of things...

- a team with a need at quarterback 

- one who's not necessarily in position to use a high draft pick to fill that need

- a GM who's okay trading for a guy that hasn't been healthy in 2 years

- system fit probably matters

If you can't find all of those things in one place, you're probably looking at a tall order.
