Earlier today was thinking about all the pablum being spooned out regarding Cam's "brand"....

....what a load of B.S.

The only 2 Panthers with a noticeable "brand" in Charlotte are Smitty and Frank Garcia. 

Frank's brand has been put on a temporary hold but it's re-emerging on a daily/weekly basis.

Smitty far & away has the biggest brand of any Panthers player ever.

Cam is invisible.

No dude I think what he's saying is true.  Why, just the other day I was in Charlotte and I went around asking people if they knew who Cam Newton was, and nobody did.

I still don't understand how the fans rushing in to trot out the tired sucker punch zingers whenever his name is mentioned think they're morally above the fray. The Panthers player who was on the receiving end of that punch has a name. Ken Lucas.

Just as many people know who Aaron Rodgers is as they do Cam Newton yet people want to make an argument Cam's "brand" is something more.  I don't buy it.

That was a bad look for Smitty but I think he truly regrets those actions and hopefully he has apologized to Ken Lucas.
