Currently 19th in draft position

Panthers are currently 19th in the draft. Anyone you would like to see in that position?

My pick is Alex Leatherwood, OT out of Alabama

The worst thing that can possibly happen is us get stuck picking 15-20 every year like the hornets. Either shoot for the playoffs or blow it up

Ugh this is purgatory for draft position. Not high enough to get a premium player but not low enough to have been a playoff team.

Anything on the offensive or defensive line would make sense to me, or it might have to be QB depending on what they do there this offseason

I'd say CB or G. Bradberry & Jackson are almost unstoppable working together, but once one (or both) go down like yesterday, we're toast. 

Trevor Diggs (CB, Alabama) or Tyler Biadasz (G, Wisconsin) should help.

Let him compete with Daley to start at LG. After the season ends, designate Paradis as a post 6/1 cut to save over $8M AND allow Biadasz to take over at center where he can hold it down for the next decade :D

 

Also: Never forget that chuckleheads screamed that we lost everything by going from #9 to #16, but ended up with Brian Burns. Meanwhile, the only other edge rusher, Rashan Gary, has had nowhere near the impact that Burns has had. Hurney is money in the 1st. It'll be fine.

We have the a hardest remaining SOS from teams currently drafting 11-20, so our position will probably improve a little.

1 we are not eliminated and there is still many games to play.  

2 we have no idea how the order will shake out

3 who gives a poo about DRAFT in the middle of the season.  The off season is long enough

At 19 give me Javon Kinlaw.

 

Only DT's under contract for next season, KK Short (coming off shoulder injury), Poe (going into last year of his deal)

Plus as bad as our run D is, its needed.  OT is bad but we have youth, potential, and Bodies.  Thats something we dont have a DT going into next year.

Kinlaw reminds me a Lot of Jeffrey Simmons in this past draft.
