DJ Moore perspective

Moore is a beast. Samuel can be better. He needs to be more consistent with his route running. I also think his biggest strength is his deep speed and that's not a great match with Allen or a bum shouldered Cam. I don't think we've really seen him in an ideal situation for him just yet.

I honestly think if you want to throw the deep ball you better have a better center and guard. Paradise and GVR are back up quality guys that make any QB unable to unload. There is no mistake any HOF QB also had a Pro Bowl center and line to be honest.

Meanwhile Calvin Ridley is being called a bust by Falcons fans, and continuing to underperform, despite playing in a pass happy offense with a former MVP QB, and facing #2 corners with Julio getting the tough coverage

They are Falcons fans. I would say Ridley and Moore are about the same talent wise.

Samuel can't even catch with his hands and Allen throws a more catchable ball than Newton. 2015 Newton would have been drilling balls to WRs. The simple fact that Samuel doesn't understand you have to fight for the ball and come back to your QB when he's running is a perfect example of how he never will be a good WR.

DeSean Jackson has never fought for a ball and came down with it in his career. He doesn’t need to, because he burns defenses. Samuel has been behind the D several times a game this year and Allen hasn’t hit him.

Dude really saying it’s samuel fault that his qb can’t make a deep throw to save his life . People are slow on this site lol dude said he need to turn around , stop and fight for the underthrow every time and if he don’t it’s his fault not the qb . You can’t make this stuff up

Allen's deep ball is not his strength but our oline does him no favors

Agreed, but the rest our schedule is anything but a cakewalk. If we can't get some deep passes completed defenses are going to keep teeing off on Allen no matter how well CMC may be playing. It's just that simple.

Moore didnt seem to start off to hot.  We can point fingers to why.

Smitty called him out as he called out the WR group the other week.   Moore has since responded.

But just saw a cool stat. And we forget how young Moore is.

You cannot compare stats in today’s NFL to stats back in the days. You just can’t.

Too early to say he'll never be a good WR. He certainly has the potential. Put it this way, there are 32 teams in the nfl, and even factoring in we had an early BYE week...I think he's the #38 WR in the league in terms of receiving yardage. About 60 yards less than JuJu. Coming from being a converted PR/KR/RB/WR to a full time NFL WR who is playing his first full year, I wouldn't consider that garbage. Outside of that San Fran performance... I think that stat line was like 4 caught off 11 targets.

As for the catching, he's no Odell but he can hand catch...granted using both although he does use him body the majority of catches. His best attribute is the deep ball (see training camp). Allen keeps under or over throwing him on the outside for whatever reason, mainly under. If he can hit him in stride on a constant basis (i.e, Saints last year Week 16), he'll be a problem. Hard to ask for when your o line won't allow you enough time to get the job done. Allen can't even step up in the pocket without Paradis falling into him.
