He very well may, but you gotta find out in live game action. Jake always looked awful in practice.

No defending Allen's horrible decisions and execution today but that OL is horrendous as well. Pitiful. We thought we fixed it, well, helped it. But were wrong.

I see no point in putting Grier in behind that when he is very likely not close to ready in the first place.

At this point, it would be unfair to put him in but he should be given the week to prep as the starter and be given a legit shot next week.

If they refuse to put him in with Allen playing so bad, why is he even activated for the game. If Allen gets hurt the same arguments apply (line too bad, not enough time with the ones).

Grier will be eaten alive.  I mean if we are playing for draft position...hint, hint, then by all means throw Grier to the lions.  I think it's premature.  Heck, our defense only made the Falcons punt 3 times today, but sure, playing from a huge deficit and a paper mache OL sets up a mediocre rookie with no starts in the NFL for great things.  Great things I say!!!

It's professional football. If he can't play behind these scrubs then he can't help us at all and it was a horrible pick. Newsflash, that OL is probably going to be a dumpster fire for 2-3 more years, at least.
