Success in one area doesn't always translate. Just look at Washington. Look at the hornets.

Hopefully Tepper doesn't mess this up.

he's been around football for a while now.  tepper knew what he was saying and what he wasn't saying.  success may not translate but he knows what he's attempting to accomplish and going about it.  extending cam isn't on that list at the moment.  he knows the message that sends

I actually agree with them because I been saying the same thing, especially when Ron been talking up Allen like he is the future. But who knows if Tepper turned his back on Cam, but it will be a mistake to move on so fast if there isn't a sure replacement. Could set the franchise up for failure for years or maybe even a decade.

Seems like Ron and Cam relationship had went down hill and Tepper might value Rivera over Cam.

The media is really the one to blame in the hype of Allen, but now trying to feel bad for Cam.

Most people know what they are attempting to accomplish. The failure usually comes with how.

MJ, Magic, and Isiah Thomas have been around basketball their entire lives and are three of the best to do it. All have failed at putting together a winning team.

Tepper had been a part owners since 2009. The steelers already had their franchise QB and already had a SB win with him.

This is certainly uncharted territory.

Seems like sometimes the really talented players are really bad at identifying talent in others. Just look at Elway's QB drafting. Yikes...

Was just watching this, couldn’t agree more.

Ron Rivera is a pos doing whatever he can to keep his job. The man straight up threw away his former MVP qb away like trash to gas up Allen, in hopes of distracting everyone from his own shitty coaching.

Dude doesn’t give a fug about a super bowl or being a champion, he just wants to stay an NFL head coach. He is an office politician.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
