Not sure if this has been posted or discussed. So here is Cam saying he Wants to stay in charlotte and its home. I guess it's up to the powers that be..

Charlotte is home.. But not on a one year lame duck contract. I think he'd sit out before he did that and jeopardized his health and future earnings

Yeah, he probably wants to stay.  To be honest, I would love to see him stay and win a couple of SB's.  He deserves it, if anyone does.  Remains to be seen if it will happen.

I really think what it comes down to is Tepper told him after all the injury stuff to take a year off and find himself. I don’t think this came from Cam, MH, RR or the doctors. I think this came down from Tepper himself.

Pretty sure he'll stay in the city regardless of what happens. He's got roots here.

Whether he'll still be with the Panthers is another question. Signs point to no at the moment. From what I've seen, I don't believe that'll change, but I acknowledge that it could.

Eh.....IDK about that. If that was the case, then the amount of nonsense being spread to the general sport media would be nuts. Which....I guess isn't completely implausible.
