It's not going to happen. And why give up a franchise that is on its way up to come back and clean up someone else's mess?

We're injured. Not garbage. Our DTs were hanging on by a string yesterday. If I could move BACK home and make a ton of $$$$$?!? Why not? More $$$$. Home

You can't request to interview an existing GM or head coach.

The only mechanism that would make this possible would be a trade. Seriously doubt Buffalo is down for that, but even if they were heaven only knows what they would ask in return.

Throw in that David Tepper has no association with either of these guys so why would he even look in this direction?

Obviously.

Given the fact Tepper has little or no association with anyone outside the Pittsburgh organization, I don't know that it makes any difference.

I'm really happy for McDermott and Beane because they both seem to be trending upward, but let's wait and see how they look in another year or two. Either way, they're in Buffalo now, and they're not leaving if things continue to improve, and if they don't improve then we wouldn't want them anyway.

McDermott and Beane have done a good job but this is the first season they've had a better record than us, and barring something crazy, they still aren't getting past the divisional round at best

Let's see where they're at 9 years in of they make it that far.

I get being ready for change here, but the idea they stripped us of talent and/or have proven themselves to be a high-end coach combo at this point is simply not true.

I hesitate even posting much these last few weeks bc there is so much exaggeration on here.

There obviously are a lot of questions about this team going forward. It's hard to see a clear path back to being a dominant team in the short term.

But it's also ridiculous to suggest that this team has been ran into the ground or anything like that.

Some posters obviously have no idea how to run a professional organization. Simply firing people without a long-term plan is pointless.

Tepper has been evaluating the football side of this team for over a year now. He has a plan, and he will execute it after the season concludes. And it will include a new regime.

The blowhards who want Tepper to impulsively fire Rivera before the season ends are just that.

Even Jerry Jones has learned that accomplishes nothing and only serves to piss off potential coaches when you treat their colleagues with wanton disrespect.

Tepper is going to let Rivera and Hurney go. Chill the fug out on the drama.
