If this is the Pats getting caught vheating by filming practices AGAIN, Belichick should get hit with a lifetime ban from the NFL. Enough is enough. I doubt you can go back and strip SBs but the Pats' legacy should be tarnished beyond repair if they've done this again. IMO, it would point strongly toward them probably having done it all along.

I'm sure Kraft would know. And the coords would have to know, otherwise what good does it do to steal signals if no one can use them.

I think going back and stripping a few SB titles would be sufficient. Start with a certain SB staring one Jake Delhomme.

I've been contending since forever that the league knew the Patriots were cheating during our SB and destroyed the evidence. Given we lost that game on a last second fg, I think the cheating absolutely was the difference in the game and Jesus couldn't convince me otherwise.

filming is one thing, but any serious discussion of Pats cheating has to center around their history of abusing the salary cap by paying Brady under the table through his shifty companies

with that stuff out there and still largely ignored, i just can't get worked up about more filming poo

I'm right there with you. There were reports of the Pats filming our practices. It's amazing how they shut us down in the first half, but once we changed to a game plan they hadn't seen after halftime, they couldn't stop anything.

Curious: Would a new scandal like this affect anyone's opinion of going after McDaniels as a head coach?

Wouldn't affect my opinion one iota.  I just want the best coach for the Carolina Panthers.  If that's a Patriot sign me up.

I've said for a long time that what's known about Belichick cheating is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

The question would be who goes down with him. Does everybody know? Just the coordinators? Kraft? Who's in on it?

If this turns out to be something big, wouldn't it be awesome for the past to be brought up and it turns out Goodell actually did have knowledge of them cheating and just threw it away? We could have a new commissioner soon.

Nothing but speculation that we are looking at these guys. No need to judge Tepper because the media throws out obvious candidates.

it was actually confirmed by a New England beat reporter that Tepper inquired about them last year.

Us, the Rams, and the Eagles got completely fuged over by the league and the Pats cheating. There is zero doubt in my mind at all. League didn’t want a huge scandal which would kill their bottom line and destroyed everything and moved on. It’s a complete shame because Belichick is the greatest football mind there is without cheating, yet his poor morals and lack of respect for the game apparently can’t be overcome. Absolute scum, that whole entire organization is pure trash.

Not to burst your bubble but the commissioner serves at the pleasure of the owners. Unless it came out that he overlooked cheating against the Cowboys, as long as he continues to serve their business interests, he’s going nowhere.

Preach brother!

I even agree with the part about Bellicheat being a genius, but with no humility or restraint. That’s what’s so maddening about him, he’s so obviously a great coach that even if you hate him you can’t deny it, so why does he need to cheat?
