Snap Counts - Brian Burns is barely on the team

It doesn't matter this season is washed

He might as well stay out and heal up for 2020

I would agree but at that rate why isn't he on IR? The limited snap counts doesn't make any sense at all.

He's either too injured to play much, which means he should be on IR, or he is healthy enough to play, which begs the question why isn't he?

Yeah, we were.

I can't really explain it.

Yea I saw us running 43 looks then we suddenly went to the 34 and never looked back. I wish there was something that kept track of defense personnel snaps scheme wise. I actually saw a decent amount of Obada.

Burns plays so little I forgot he existed..which should never be said for a first round pick. His whole season started to trend down after Irving came back because you know ron and his vets.. don't get me wrong I like irving and would welcome him back, but not at the expense and development of my first round pick.

Burns clearly did something to piss off Rivera, probably something personal. RR let the remaining coaches know to keep him in his place after he left.

Absolutely no other reason I can think of makes sense.

Are we assuming that our coaching staff's decisions are going to make sense?

Everything is pointing towards a complete and total overhaul of the coaching staff and player roster. Rivera was just the beginning

Been saying this for over a year now.

We as fans don't like to look at the team like that, we like to think that we are in a position to make a run.

We aren't, and weren't, and won't be for a while.  It's why many of us are predicting that Cam moves on, just no real reason to make him live through a complete teardown.

And trust me, that's what this team needs.

Lol even if you believe that. Ship cam off , then what you still need a qb. So you ship off a proven one for a bag of mystery air in the name sake of "let's rebuild" you dont rebuild parts that are fixtures. If anything cam hastens the rebuild. I don't care about what he wants to sit through. The dolphins made Dan Marino play through awful teams and he never won a super bowl. Franchise first, long as he gets a check he will be fine.  Speaking of dolphins have they had a franchise qb since Marino?

You guys around the huddle just think they grow on trees. Hey we will draft one next year... just getting a qb with a high pick doesn't mean hes a franchise saving qb. Look at recent history, darnold looks meh, I think Baker does, Haskins, Rosen, who knows for Daniel Jones. You want us to jump back into that for the"rebuild". You sir are high...

You need to learn to read, and follow certain posters, and what they say.

I have never once said that I want to ship Cam off.  You think that's what I say, but it's not.

What I'm saying is that I THINK that Cam will either retire, or play for another franchise next season.  That's not a want, it's a logical look at where we are as a franchise.

We HAVE to rebuild, we don't have any other choice at this point, and I'm not sure that Cam wants to live through that, and I believe that keeping Cam makes the rebuild harder to accomplish.
