From me and @granthpaulsen: * Bruce Allen sacked from Redskins football ops, but not out just yet * Ron Rivera a leading coaching candidate…

I don't see what she's talking about in that tweet.  Apparently you'll have to read the article on the Athletic.

I can.

Here's the quote:

Current Panthers GM Marty Hurney is another potential target, according to a league source. Hurney, who hired Rivera as the Panthers head coach in 2011, faces an uncertain future in Carolina according to a source.

Hurney actually got his start in the NFL with the Redskins under Bobby Beathard.

I Do wonder how close he is with Snyder.

I don't know of any connection between him and Snyder at all.

Only thing I could think of is it maybe Snyder wants a GM/head coach package. And if Hurney/Rivera is the package he wants, by all means he's welcome to them.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
