Tre Boston On Cam Newton - "Why does Cam get to have just average lines..."

That is only partially true.

The most damaging hits Cam has ever taken have been from the pocket, just like every other QB that has been injured behind this awful offensive line

Yep and think about the plays Cam had to run to escape a failing pocket.

Also think about when Cam HAD to be Panthers rushing game for 7 years and short yardage back because the gm never found a consistent power back.

Just pointing out the obvious.

We've done an incredibly crappy job of keeping Cam protected.

Thanks to hurney, rivera, and gettleman. Those three really screwed up the potential we had with Cam. OL was always a afterthought unless it was panic time or nepotism time.

Granted, but Rivera has sounded different, way more egotistical for sure.

Some coaches say "just business" but you can tell Rivera feels disrespected.

And will be grinning like Sean Payton when his Redskins stomp this JV football team "blown up" roster.

Wanted Cam to stay but feeling more and more that he should give you guys the destruction you sooooo want.

That sht yesterday was unwatchable, unbackable and had David Tepper begging Luke not to give up, yeah Luke.

Instead of having some class and being grateful for the hard work that goes into keeping a team out of the cellar most fans here are nasty and disrespectful towards coaches and players, even the best players to walk through that door.

As I've said some of these fairweather fans (of which their are many) deserve JV football.

Very sad. Very ungrateful. Very entitled. You guys don't really know football misery.... yet.

It's absolutely valid.

Is it wise to say that publicly, though?

I love this ish! Tired of the same ol 'good guys' Panthers.

The oline has been horrible almost all of Cam's career. FYI that's the only thing I don't agree with in this statement. Them boys ain't been average in a minute.

Cam showed us what he needed in 2015 when he took an above average oline (not good or great, but slightly above average), one great receiving TE, and a bunch of no-named WRs and RBs to the Super Bowl. Winning 15 regular season games, only barely losing one game to the Falcons - a team they absolutely demolished 2 weeks prior, and then blowing mofos out in the playoffs. Losing the Super Bowl because an offensive lineman was handed his A$$ all game long by Vonn Miller.

Why in the Hell would you not make the oline a priority after that? Just one (1) offensive lineman drafted between that Super Bowl and this past draft. One offensive lineman in 3 drafts after a Super Bowl appearance. A season when your QB showed you he could dominate the league with a pretty good oline and a bunch of JAGs everywhere else.

At this point, why not?

It's not like it's any secret we have been managed poorly and hopefully it won't be long before hurney is gone and we're free of all of them.

Tepper has to know this. We aren't going to be a consistent winner until we get a real OL.

Because you're a free agent and might wanna come back here.

And because if those OL guys are back (Paradis, Turner, Van Roten and Moton probably will be) you'd be sharing a locker room.
