Per CBSsports:

"The Cincinnati Bengals have the top overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and have no intention to trade the pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Cincinnati finished with the worst record in the NFL, which put them in position to draft LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, who is the consensus top player this year. Doesn't hurt that the Bengals need a quarterback who can lead the way in rebuilding their franchise."

All I hear is that the 1st pick is expensive. Not that i want to dump the next 2 or 3 drafts into one QB we aren't ready to protect. They will listen to offers I'm sure.

They've already said they're not going to.

Even if they were, how the hell would the Panthers have enough assets to beat out Miami? This is absurd.

    • It depends on what version of bad we are getting. Can't have the locker room tearing apart over it.
    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
