The critical 3 month post-surgery CT scan was performed and showed that his hip is healed.  As good of news as he could have received.

I'm not hinting this to be our pick but this is big news as, sure, we could target him, or he is picked ahead of us and allows a top guy to drop.

We gotta get either Burrow or Tua. It’ll be a big bust if we don’t.

I’d like Tua at 7. Wouldn’t trade up for him and I think we would have to. Honestly tanking for Trevor seems likely.

I bet Dolphins get Burrow 1st overall, Bengals get Tua top 5.

Would love to see either Lawrence or Fields here.

My one thing--If no one trades up to 3 w/DET for Tua, the arsenal needed to get to #4 w/NYG isn't bad at all as it would equate to a late 2nd rounder per value charts rather than a mid to late first.

I went down the rabbit hole this weekend and watched the bulk of Fields highlights this season and man that kid is impressive.  I think both qb's are going to be stars.   Just suck up 2020 and do all it takes to get one of those guys next season.

With what defense and OL? If we draft a QB this year.... I will stab Teppers ketchup on steak eating ass right in the eye with a spoon.

We didn’t get pick 7 in the draft by being a good team.

I like Tua but the moment just isn't right to pull off what it would take to land him. We aren't getting a top QB ahead of Miami, Indy, and LAC without selling the farm and I'm not comfortable with doing that while there's still a chance Cam bounces back. If we're QB-less a year from now we'll have another high pick and can blow everything up then for all I care.

    • frank, that ball was very catchable where it hit his hands. I don't even think he bent at waist until after he dropped it. He actually slows his pace to position himself to catch the ball. That will never be a pass I'd blame on the QB.   NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-54-54.mp4
    • https://overthecap.com/position/left-guard   Lewis is the 9th highest paid Left Guard in the league. I bet it was higher when the deal was done two years ago.    https://overthecap.com/position/right-guard Hunt #3 highest Right Guard   There is a tab in the upper left portion of the graphic that allows looking at the different positions.
    • It was a great play, but a better catch than throw. The TE boxes out Moehrig for position. Jumps to catch the ball. Catches it and turns 180 degrees while he's still in the air. Comes down and toe taps to stay in bounds and lunges for the goal post. That first part where he boxes out Moehrig for the ball is huge. If he doesn't do that and simply fades back to catch the ball (this is why Bryce doesn't trust XL), then Moehrig likely undercuts the pass for a break up or INT. Stafford trusts his receivers to make plays for him. Here I slowed it down so you can see it. Great play but amazing catch and score by the TE.  NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-45-32.mp4 NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-44-37.mp4
