Two Panthers make 2010s All Decade Team

Julius Peppers and Luke Kuechly made the Pro Football Hall of Fame All Decade Team for the 2010s, as voted by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee (link)

For the record, Peppers, Kuechly and Michael Bates are the only Panthers to ever achieve this particular honor. Peppers made the All Decade team for both the 2000s and the 2010s. Bates made it for the 90s.

Steve Smith should’ve made it for the 2000s but there was a lot of WR then.

Regardless of his early retirement.  Pretty sure Luke is a first ballot HOF'er

Yes.

By the time he is eligible, retiring after 8 seasons won't seem so crazy.

Teams are going to have to start looking at those long term deals going to the 1st rounders a little harder, although, most team are seemingly already taking that into consideration, and shortening deals.
