Zero chance it comes down to Hurndog "making a pick".

Tepper has lead Rhule & Hurndog through every iteration of scenario analysis possible and their reaction to each and every scenario is predetermined.

All that's left to be determined is which scenario is present when it is time for the 7th pick.

Ditto subsequent picks.

100% will be marty's picks. Of course Rhule will have a lot of imput, but Hurney makes the final call.

Like it or not, every report we've got says that's how it works.

It might change after tonight, but not till then at the earliest.

I'm not emotionally invested one way or another in any "reports", but I am certain none of those producing said reports have any idea how things work in Tepper's world.

I will guarantee you he has led Rhule, Hurndog and other involved staff through every iteration of scenario analysis possible and their reaction to each and every scenario is predetermined -- the playbook is set.

Hurndog will likely be the guy who verbally conveys the pick to the League but that doesn't constitute it being Hurn's sole decision.

Believe what you will, every one has the right to do so.

I honestly don't hate Hurney on draft day. He's made both good and bad moves.

What I hate is his inability to sign a sane contract, and his horrible ability to evaluate FA talent or the talent of his own roster and where they stand.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
