Saw this from Person...

Will Kunkel clarified that this is Person's opinion. He's not citing an inside source.

How is Cam literally the only player in the NFL that has to wait for travel restrictions to be lifted to be examined and signed? srs question

Restrictions have nothing to do with it. Teams aren't interested.

You can argue that they should be but the reality seems to be that they're not.

Of course they do.

The point was that signing him to backup money is not as risky as signing him as a starter without an in person physical.

But that doesn’t explain all the signings happening right now. I have not read one instance where travel restrictions have prevented a player from being signed, except Cam.

Yeah... I had a similar conversation with someone else and thought about Tom Brady after the fact. Brady had a 2 day physical with an independent examiner in NY to complete his Bucs signing. So it does happen.

They can't put their hands on him, and he is coming off of two major injuries...one to a foot (always tough for big men) the other to his throwing shoulder, which has now plagued him for a few seasons.

He likely just wants to wait this out to be able to set up medical visits and have a "pro day" to show he's healthy.....

Or teams really really don't want him near their clubhouses.

Nobody else is coming off injury. Dalton had a thumb fracture in 2015. So unless he tore and ACL and didn't tell anyone, a cursory physical is fine for the Cowboys. Last time Cam saw the field he couldn't throw a ball like a real NFL QB.

Having said that I thing contracts being signed can be voided later by a failed physical. Could be wrong.

It is, but why take yourself off the market for that long, this early.

He has a better chance at a bigger deal if he can workout for all 32 teams at some point.  Personally, It's probably not how I would handle it, but Cam is his own man.

I'm totally a Will Grier/ PJ Walker bandwagon member now.

Didn't agree with the foolish signing of Bridgewater when we are supposed to be looking to the future since footing Cam in the ars.

Totally confusing us hopefully they can equally confuse the rest of the NFL on the field.

It would be much more fun watching PJ or Will to be honest. When Cam was here Rhule said he wouldn't name a starter at QB. I hope that was an honest statement and that there truly IS competition at the QB position. That would be best.

A+ draft by the way.

Maybe Rhule and Brady think Bridgewater is the future
