Yeah but Greg Little was a franchise tackle with a first round grade.

Thumbs GIF by Sesame Street

Hurney claiming his 2nd round pick had a 1st round grade is the most surefire kiss of death for a newly drafted NFL player's career that there is.

If there's one thing I envy about the Saints, it's the investment that they've put into their offensive line.

Ron Rivera was never going to do that. I'm hoping Matt Rhule's OL coaching background makes a difference.

There hasn’t been a super bowl contender without a top oline in a very VERY long time. To ignore it the way it has been ignored... I mean damn that’s pretty ambitious to basically come in and act like you don’t fuging need what the last decade+ teams that went to the super bowl needed to get there. Ambitious almost isn’t quite the right word for it...

Well that's not true. We got into the Superb Owl in 2015 without a top offensive line.

Yeah, Denver’s wasn’t too great either...

Denver in 2015 was one of the few exceptions in the past decade.

I’m not sure where you’re getting that...we were unanimously ranked in the top 5 (usually 2-4) from just about every stat perspective.

There are some sites who rank them around #10.

However there are players on the line that ranked poorly

Sure there have been some that ranked out of the top 10. But the majority since 2010 haven’t.

you’re still saying fug the odds ignoring the line and trying to be that rare team that pulls it off, for what tho?

Brady has familiarity with him. If we don't make a play for him then I think that is significant.

Good point...if they think he could help they'll be interested.  If they balk then they think he can't.

I just don't know what to make of Pro Bowl appearances, especially for OL. Trai was a Pro Bowler last year and he pretty much sucked.

I think most of us agree that Pro Bowls can be a bit of a populatiry contest, but if someone decides to post PFF grades, then all the cool kids make fun of that also.

So what do we have to help us actually rate these players?
