Cam is the only QB left unsigned.

Cam currently isn't signed and likely won't be until there is an injury to a QB and even then a starting job isn't assured.

Looks like the rest of the NFL sees whatever the Panthers saw in letting him go. Highly likely mostly medical reasons.

Hard to really argue with it. Teams can't get him in to take a good look at that shoulder and foot yet. Unfortunately for him, Cam has already shown he won't be truthful regarding the foot injury, so you can't really trust his word in that regard.

Yet Joe Flacco coming off neck surgery get's signed....ffs.

It's a 1yr deal worth 1.5m and incentives up to $4.5. Pretty good deal for the Jets. Not much lost if he can't play. Not much to pay if he reaches incentive bonuses.

Do you see Cam taking that offer? I don't.

Neither you or I know the answer to that. So don't act like you know.

Yeah lets not act like the reason he isn't getting signed is because teams can't bring him in for a physical. The ones being the most vocal about him not being signed are inadvertently showing their true agenda.

To be fair, Newton only recently stated that he'd be willing to take a backup role. Up to now, reports have been that he was only interested in being a starter.

Florio argues that he'd be better off to wait until somebody goes down so that he's guaranteed a starting job rather than being stuck in a backup role.

It's a valid point.

i just don't know. you kinda have to build your offensive scheme around him.  he already has trouble getting the plays out he says.  i'm not sure how getting flown in somewhere and being expected to start the next week is going to help him look good.    and he needs to look good

Teams are performing physicals.

    • Hey if they could beat Seattle… tiebreaker head to head over GB, LARms, Seattle… win out the record is 11-6.  Now rap my knuckles for suggesting we win out, but that would be some funny poo. Talk about sneaking up on people.
    • I expected 6 wins this season. I need to see the Panthers blow by that now that they exceeded it by 1. I like how Canales has schemed around the weaknesses on offense in the passing game. I am impressed with the receivers, run blocking, running back combo and secondary communication in zone. Defense and QB need more consistency. The improvement of the defensive play calling and critical 3rd down and 4Q passing when trailing is going to be what I am looking for going into the playoffs. If the Panthers can consistently regain the lead after trailing over the next 4 games, I can see them competing in the playoffs and worth a reevaluation of the last 2 seasons' weaknesses. This is the prove it or lose it moment in their Panthers careers for Young and Evero. No excuses.
    • He's on the smaller size for a center (5'8" 175lbs) and he is a bit of a liability in the faceoff circle. But, he's a proven 60 pt player with room to grow. I'd still rather go get TT from Buffalo. Rossi would be a great consolation prize, though.
