Cowboys have reportedly parted ways with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Didn't see that coming.

Word also that the Eagles have placed starting tackle Andre Dillard on IR

Dillard and Little have both been disappointing so far. I’m pretty sure that those of us who watched the Senior Bowl and combine had those two as our most not wanted OL. Dillard got abused in the Senior Bowl and Little looked like the stiffest/worst OL in drills are the combine.

And people think we shouldn’t have paid CMC?

Ignoring rushing stats the last 3 years:

Allen 3888 yards 18 TDs

CMC 2523 yards 15 TDs

Yes, Allen has got a lot more receiving yards which makes sense as a WR and CMC wasn’t full time his rookie year.

Throw in the 2920 yards and 24 TDs rushing and you get a reality check on CMC’s worth as an offensive weapon not just a replaceable plug and play RB.

@Mr. Scot adding this here.

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said QB Ryan Fitzpatrick would start Week 1 against the Patriots.

The team telegraphed this decision last month. Flores said last week that QB Tua Tagovailoa's recovery from offseason hip surgery would play a factor in whether he'd play in the early season, even though the rookie displayed good mobility throughout training camp. Tagovailoa would likely get a shot to start once the Dolphins' season is in the tank and coaches want the rookie to get some game reps. For now, the Beard will once again fling it to wideouts DeVante Parker and Preston Williams, both of whom thrived through portions of the 2019 season. Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins should be forced into plenty of pass-heavy game script, making the wily veteran a cheap source of points in superflex and 2-QB leagues.

No need to rush Tua back from that injury. They drafted him for the next decade plus, not for a season that very well could get cut short.

Bears name Mitch T starter

When in the hell didnt they either send us a 7th rounder for Cam or try and sign him after we cut him?  Makes zero sense

Instead they gave Nick Foles $7M to ride the pine.

Nagy is probably done in Chicago (and as a HC in general) after this year.

I am not saying I would be a better gm than what they have in Chi town but damn you have to be moronic to not add cam to your roster.  I mean with that defense and a slightly talented oline that could do some damage with cam.  Obviously if he is healthy which he appears to be in the preseason
