Does Bonnafon need more snaps?

Reggie rocks when he gets the ball. Now why hasn't he been out on the field, or even the active roster from the season start?

Honestly, you and I don't know. Perhaps he was having trouble getting his role down for the whole playbook last season and then had trouble with it again this offseason with the coaching changes. Perhaps he isn't a good blocking back. Perhaps he just doesn't enjoy good relations with the coaches. Perhaps he is constantly being saved up for a rainy day. It could be any of those things.

It could also be that he has ball control issues at practice that are worrying, but haven't manifested themselves on the field yet. It could be a conditioning issue or that he doesn't quickly recover from hits on the field. We just don't know.

Whatever it might be, if he can get past that, I think he'd be an amazing running back, just overshadowed by one who could go down as one of the greatest.

Good luck Reggie! And good job to Davis, too.

He looked more explosive than Davis. He’s not a vet like Davis. But I think he would have turned in a better yardage total had he had all the carries. As you posted before there were plays where you could see where CMC would have extended a run that Davis couldn’t finish. I don’t think Reggie is on CMC’s level but I think the same would be said about him hitting holes quicker and doing more. Maybe Reggie doesn’t have the hands, not sure.

Moore hasn’t been quite impressive either. Ridley was the better player and that draft and has proven so in the NFL. Moore was a non factor last Sunday. Robby is already our #1 after 3 weeks of football. I would honestly try to trade both guys before the deadline if we start to pile losses. Moore isn’t worth 12 plus million a year for 2-4 TDs a season.

Interesting fact: Moore was the leading receiver the last two games.

    • He's handing off play calling duties to fuging Brad Idzik as well so, either that mouth breather can run the playbook and Canales can grow as an all around head coach or it will be a horrible decision and both of them and BY can screw off. I'm fine with that as long as it isn't just another excuse for BY to get another year with another coach worthy of working around his limitations as a qb.
    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
