What's impressing me about this team

We're actually using our weapons effectively and minimizing problem areas. On defense, we're improving the pass rush rapidly, which helps our linebackers and secondary avoid major issues. On offense, we're spreading the ball around with varied routes and targets, making running the ball easier even with average or below-average talent. That's not an easy thing to do. There's still room to improve, but we have a decent core to build around and that's doing a lot to mask the obvious weaknesses.

I always feel like if a player was a round peg with Ron that they better turn into a square or it’s not gonna work with him.

Our defenses under McDermott were no slouched and pretty dang good. Now he's a pretty good HC

Matt Rhule is an absolute great head coach. I had reservations but the preparation and game plans are like night and day with Rivera. It’s great. And we got a real one with Joe Brady. We better enjoy him while we’ve got him, because he’s headed for the McVay treatment.

I couldn’t be more impressed with everybody. Kudos. I had serious reservations going into the year and I have firmly been proven wrong.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
