This win is entirely on coaching.

And jesus fuging christ it feels good.

We have two JAGs at S. Another JAG at CB and another a rookie. less than a JAG at ILB (god I fuging hate whitehead.) and both our young pass rushers got knocked out.

We passed damn near 40 times and gave up no sacks.

And our most explosive playmaker and mismatch nightmare is out.

This purely coaching. And I know it won't always be this rosy, but fug it feels like we're a goddamn football team now.

I agree the coaching was stellar but I think we are underrating our players. Boston is trash but Chinn,Burris, Pride, and Douglas can play. Mike Davis  was an absolute steal.

Seems like the defense is getting ran on but can make up for it with turnovers which is better than nothing. Team looks solid. Excited to see what happens when CMC returns.

Outside of one drive TB looked really good

Rasul Douglas isn’t a JAG. He actually played decent in Philly for long stretches and he was cut in a numbers game. The Eagles were dumb for cutting him and would take him back in a heartbeat.

Yeah the coaching staff was the ones breaking tackles, getting those YACs and getting that interception.

no the team played great and we also had great coaching to go with it. Don’t take nothing away from the players.

I'm not taking...anything away from the players.

However the gameplan and playcalling is what kept us in this game and kept us winning.

Disagree. He's a solid player but he's exactly the type of player who's gonna bounce around from roster to roster.

You can win with him and he's long term better than guys like Burris, Boston and Whitehead but hes not a #1 type of guy. Smart as whip but very exposable.

If we passed 40 times and had no sacks, and our running backs averaged over five yards a carry, I would think the oline deserves a little bit of credit.  Actually, Paradis and company were great for most of the game.  But I agree the current staff is far better at utilizing the players we have than the previous one was.

    • Do you honestly believe this is a team that will even be in contention for a playoff spot this year? To me, if you're not at minimum a genuine playoff caliber team, every win you get is a meaningless win in the end.  This is the NFL, it's not peewee league where you just want to win a few games and have fun, you want to get into the playoffs and have a shot at making a SB run. We haven't had a winning season in how many years?   Does "enjoying" a small handful of wins every year really make for an enjoyable season for you? I said it months ago and I'll say it forever, I don't care about winning or losing this year, as we don't have a playoff caliber roster yet and I'm a realist about where we are as a franchise.  I'd enjoy watching the games so much more if the team and Bryce in particular were just showing marked improvement, even if it came in losses.   Because THAT would give me hope for the future of the franchise and the direction we're going. Bryce was complete garbage in Week 1, in Week 2 he was terrible until the Cardinals went into super soft prevent defense and then collapsed gain when the game was in reach, and he was a serviceable game manager today, but didn't make any throws that any college QB couldn't make. This game was a perfect chance to let Bryce go out there and play loose because of the lead, just let him be himself and see if it sparks his college self.  But instead, we went unbelievably conservative with the play calling to help ensure the win, when actual wins and losses are the least of our worries this year, it's figuring out what Bryce can be (fans may be decided, but the team obviously has not yet).
    • Pretty fair assessment overall. I can’t say a lot since I didn’t watch but going by the comments I am betting he (Canales) was very conservative and a large reason would be to prevent Bryce giving it away half the day.
