Eh, yell my QB sucks and I get defensive.

Hell, I hated Delhomme and would have done the same.

such is life.

So, how about Tre Boston?  Is that cool, or it's just the guys you like personally?

I need to know who is safe to make my next " ____ sucks" thread about without incurring your wrath.

Whose fault was it? He tried to force the ball into a tight window the defender made a play on it and the deflection made an INT.

For one, if a QB never tried to put a pass in a tight window, we'd call him a coward (and it'd be deserved).

For another, see above.

Mike Davis fumbled on an open field tackle.  DJ Moore dropped an easy touchdown.  Joey Slye missed a makeable FG.  Tre Boston dropped an easy interception.  If you want to criticize someone, criticize the whole team.  This thread is garbage.  Bears are a legit team and we just didn't make the plays we needed to make.  We'll get better, it takes time.

Teddy led by example today.  He took hits all game and just kept going.  That's what you want from your QB.  Sure, he threw a bad pick to end the game. But, that didn't lose us the game.

He did not drive the team to a win though when the chips were down (and not only that but threw an interception), and that's the biggest takeaway. Not a definitive piece of evidence by any means but a large one in a currently-small sample size.

The Bears are 5-1.  It's not like he was playing the Jaguars here.  There's probably less than 5 QBs in the whole league that would've led a game winning drive there with this team.

He took the chance and it led to a turnover. Yes or no?

But I'll play your dumb logic game.

If a QB always threw it into a tight window regardless of situation we would criticize them for being a gunslinger (and deservedly so).

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
