Myles Jack before the deadline?

What say you?

He's frustrated with Jacksonville, and admittedly he has a kinda chunky price tag, but considering we're probably gonna take a LB in the top 3 rounds anyway, I'd offer a 3rd and end at a 2nd for a 25 year old athletic LB.

We already have a big money non-pass rushing LB. I'm of the opinion you can't afford two.

Interesting.  We had Luke and Shaq. Neither of which could rush the passer. If Luke wanted to come back tomorrow I’m pretty sure we’d all be ecstatic, including you.

I'm just sitting here livid we're paying about 3mil less for Shaq than the jags are paying for Jack.

Shaq was on his rookie contract Lukes time here.

We'd be paying around 80 mil if we had both.

I think it'd be partly worth it if we cut our losses on Shaq as soon as we can because Jack is a great talent but it's very risky still because we'd have little wiggleroom elsewhere.

Shaq was cheap(er) until the end of last year and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Luke already knew at that point he wasn't coming back.

Yeah, and I'd cut Shaq after next season when we have an out.

Wait we can bail next season?

Holy fug what joyus news.

Maybe he'll progress but Shaq has just been Eric Reid 2.0. So far.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
    • This is the Buc's division to lose.  We come out on top only if the wheels come off if Tampa.  I agree we can be--and should be--better than the Saints and likely the Falcons.  A 9-8 season would be nice, but it isn't great.  It's mediocre and that something the Panthers haven't been in nearly a decade, but would be reason to celebrate.  Heck, the Steelers will likely fire Tomlin over a 9-8 season because they are tired of being mediocre.
    • First game was a awful stat line. 2nd DNP due to ankle Summer league doesn't help what hes bring, its dang near YMCA pickup game level.  I heavily question the type of player he is and his future was NOT, not not not what you use #4 pick on. Hornets got him on visit and still made the pick, they better hope he has some Larry legend in him. I maintain huge questions.
