The most successful LTs we've had outside of that would be Todd Steussie and Michael Oher, both free agents. Steussie was decent but not necessarily special and was nicknamed "first and 15" by his teammates for good reason. Oher was pretty good but didn't last long.

Gross was viewed strickly as a RT until his second contract on top of that.

Otah was a mauler RT but his body couldn't hold up. And Mr. Scot I'm talking about the plethora of bodies we've thrown at that position post Gross

I may be wrong but I believe Gross moved to LT well before he signed his second contract.

He was starting LT in 2004 and 2005 went back to RT.

Nope.  Jordan got hurt in 2009 and Wharton played there half the season. Before that he had only missed 1 game
