Appreciate the gesture, but it wasn't just energy.  Evans sonned him all day.  I didn't think anyone would make me miss Bradberry, but my God...  Douglas was BAD today.

Ideally, every single player and coach in the organization is saying the exact same thing about themselves. Much better than under Rivera where he and everyone else just blamed others.

Plenty of others were worse. He has the excuse of going up against one of the best WRs in the league. He's only a #1 CB because he's our best bad option. If he was a #2 or #3 CB he'd probably be just fine.

A #1 CB would be huge for this defense, it would move the others CBs down a spot so to spot.  Its like adding a good hitter to the top of a lineup, everyone moves down and becomes better relatively speaking.

In a division with Brees, Ryan and now Brady, Julio, Thomas, Ridley, Evans, and Godwin, it made perfect sense to re-sign Shaq over Bradberry.

No doubt, Evans took his lunch money today. He was useless when he got jammed at the line. But... I still think he's a decent starter, or good backup.
