At 15 million per he should be.   Person wasnt real high on us signing Moton or Samuel.  Was a bit weird to be honest.  If we have to start completely over on the oline that is going to set us back quite a bit.  Why in the hell did hurney wait so long to sign Moton?

Not re-signing Moton would be a huge mistake. Probably an even bigger mistake than not re-signing Bradberry. God knows Panthers fans should be well aware of the reality that legit NFL starters at OT and CB aren't exactly easy to come by yet this organization has always conducted business as if they are... while dumping massive resources into RB and LB, which actually are relatively easy pieces to come by.

Just watched Wilson’s 2020 highlights. Saw one trait that I haven’t seen in any other QB in this class other than Lawrence. He goes through his reads. That’s a big deal. Fields and Lance throw to their first read every time. I’ve watched every video I could find on those two and paid attention to that one skill, and both threw to their first read 99% of the time. Wilson is very good at his reads, throws a good ball, mobile enough. He’s kinda small but he’s probably my favorite realistic target at the moment.

Oh I agree but both are needed. Douglas is only on a 1 year. DJax is... I don't really know, he shows flashes but no consistency.

DJax has been struggling with that turf toe injury all year, but I agree that we definitely shouldn't be penciling him in as a definite answer.

Ya, no clue why we haven't just IR'd him, perhaps he doesn't feel job safety?

I get letting him try to play through it, but at this point with him continuing to struggle with it it's time to let him just focus on rehabbing that injury. Playing through it isn't working out for anyone.

Agree with you. I know CmC is an amazing talent at RB, but is he worth the money? I'd say he is the only one with Kamara a close second.

Cincinnati has 2 wins with Burrow as their franchise QB.

Houston has 2 wins, Miami owns their pick, Miami has Tua as their franchise QB.

Jacksonville currently has 1 win, and have almost won each of the last two weeks with Luton starting instead of Minshew. If Jacksonville somehow wins a couple of games, it may be possible for the Bengals or Dolphins (via Texans) to jump up to the 2nd pick. That may give the Panthers an opportunity to move up for Fields or Lawrence, depending which one the Jets take.

If not, then its Wilson for me

What is a Schuyler Callihan?

No one is disputing that we have other needs. It's just that everything else pales in comparison to the importance of the QB position. If you don't have a franchise QB and the opportunity to land a potential franchise QB presents itself, you have to jump on it. Other needs be damned.

Honestly, I doubt it. Teddy would just be able to take a little longer before checking it down. The Browns had the best LT in football for years in Joe Thomas and always sucked anyway.

I'm not at all opposed to taking a position other than QB if the board doesn't fall the right way at QB, but if we think there's a legit franchise QB prospect available, we need to draft him.

That is why I say top 5-10. Inside the top 5, you take Fields or Lawrence.

And, we have had one good LT in franchise history, so it isn't surprising we have only had one franchise QB.

Whether Teddy is here or not, LT finally needs to be addressed.
